Girl Power

This look was inspired by Livinfashion. I couldn’t decide on what to wear to church on Sunday.

My girlies had put me under pressure and were expecting me to slay to my “workers training graduation ceremony”. It was more like I had to read out declarations promising to be a faithful member of my chosen department (The Chior).

“I promise not to gossip”, I almost laughed as I uttered those words. Earlier that morning, you know sisters now. I had to give my sister a download of some previous events. That’s not gossip… is it? Lool!

After ransacking my closet and nagging on how I need new clothes. I remembered saving liv’s post and contemplating on doing a shoot on a similar look. I then finally decided to replicate the look to church, tweaking it a little.

There was no time to look in the mirror between forcing two hotdogs down my throat and dashing out the door as my african mother shouts across the room “if I start that car, I am gone!” so I ended up doing my make up in the church bathroom.

Instead of the v neck sweater liv had on, I wore a white T-Shirt with the words “GRL PWR” (Girl Power).

To think that I put a pair of sunglasses in my bag but forgot they existed. *sigh.
